Parangtritis, be a place of tourism in the form of coastal area coast Samudra Hindia which is located more or less 30 kilometer side town south Yogyakarta. Parangtritis is tourist object which is famous enough of in Yogyakarta, besides other coast object like Samas, Baron, Coupe Krakal and Glagah beach. Parangtritis has specially view which there are no at other tourist object is besides big wave also existence of mount - high sand mount around coast, the sand mount usualy is called as dune. This tourist object have been managed by the side of local government of town Bantul good enough, starts from lodging facility and also market vending souvenir typical of parangtritis.
Besides there are bath of so-called parang wedang it is said water in bath can heal assorted of disease between of skin disease. Water from the bath contains brimstone coming from mountain in the location. Other location is coast parang kusumo where along the beach the there is place it is said for meeting between kings Yogyakarta with queens Laut Selatan. At certain days (ordinary month of suro) here is done offerings devoting (Labuhan) for Ratu Laut Selatan or in Javanese called as Nyai Rara Kidul. Coast Parangtritis becomes place of main visit of tourist especially at Java new year nights (1 muharram/Suro). In Parangtritis there are also horse train or horse which can be rented to fringe eastward coast to west.
Special Region Yogyakarta ( or Jogja, Yogya, Yogyakarta, Jogjakarta) and often is shortened DIY is a province in Indonesia which located in part of south Java island and abuts on Central Java province in north side. Geographically Yogyakarta located in centered Java. Yogya Town has been recognized in world public especially in the field of tourism.
