Bromo Mountain

Mount Bromo is an area tourism nature and national park residing in Indonesia state and located in Java island precisely East Java province. This mount is mount which still active. The government of Indonesia opens as national park in the year 1997. For this mount there is ocean of sand with a width of 5250 ha with situation of height of mount reach 2100 m from sea surface. Mount having height of 2350 m to this famous sea level with extent of wide sand and crater. Visitor can see a real wide cauldron with diameter 800 m (northerly - south) and 600 m (from west - east). Besides, tourist can enjoy rising view of the sun and sundown, explores mount by taking a ride horse, and enjoys warm beverage with bonfire which can fight against cool-air in top of the mountain.

Mount Bromo located between sub-province Probolinggo, Malang, Pasuruan, and Lumajang East Java province. But in urban planning, this mount still be a part of Probolinggo town. We can reach this mount by using personal or common vehicle by using two routes. First door is from direction of west, namely from town Pasuruan. But the road which must be passed is including heavy road because cannot be passed to driving your car except we to rent vehicle of type JEEP. Through this line usually tourist chooses walking with travelled distance 13 km from countryside Wonokriti.

Second door is north door from direction Probolinggo. Tourist is passing this door far easier because all vehicles can pass this road. This road applied not steep like at direction from Pasuruan. If tourist chooses door of west, they would more practically to see sunrise or sunset, but if we choose applies north line of we will meet with sand ocean. Countryside closest to reach Bromo is Cemorolawang is apart it 45 km, from Probolinggo we can apply public transport hereinafter rents horse or JEEP.

For lodging, around Bromo have many lodgings. Temperature in this mount ranges from 220 0C.
